Time to say Goodbye

Folks, what a wild ride!! We have loved being apart of your lives over the years, but we here at Floyd Family Homestead have decide to step back from being the host of this wonderful, Homesteaders Hop. Each week we have really enjoyed reading your posts and being welcomed into your homes to see what you all have been up to, but it is time for our little homestead to grow and change in a different way.

While we will still be around through our social media such as Facebook or Youtube, it is time for us to take down our website and our little homemade shop and look to a different horizon.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to say Thank you to each and everyone of you that have come by. Do not be sad as the Homesteader Hop will carry on with all of the great co-hosts and great articles. The responsibility of the main host will fall to Homesteading with Heart so please make sure you bookmark their site, or any of our other co-hosts to continue this wonderful journey.

Finally, to all of my co-hosts, a very big, warm and heartfelt Thank You! for all that you have done to make this hop a success; may your homesteads be plentiful and inspirational to all who cross your path.

How Do I Do This Blog Hop Thang?

If you’re new to blogging OR just new to Blog Hops, (or need a reminder), here’s what you do: (after the hop)

The post that you want to submit to the Blog Hop needs to have a link back to the Blog Hop. For example you might say in your post…”This post was shared on The Homesteader Hop”, or “I participated in the Homesteader Hop” and this would generally go at the end of your post.

Please link the URL of your actual BLOG POST and NOT your blogs HOME PAGE. Most blogging platforms show a URL or shortlink at the top of your post when you are in your dashboard area. Highlight this URL, it is what you will place in the Linky Widget.

Homesteading/Prepping bloggers, please visit other blogs posts and comment…share the love!
