There’s something about those frozen chicken tenders that really bothers me. Obviously they are packed with preservatives, but the coating just seems completely unnatural.

I like knowing what I’m eating and feeding my family to the point where I am that annoying chick reading every label and standing in the way at the grocery store!

If you’re like me try these homemade chicken tenders! Without the spices, kids gobble these up!

Homemade Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 cup flour

3 eggs

2 cups Italian Seasoned Panko Crumbs

salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp paprika (optional)

1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions

You could buy chicken tenders but they are more expensive. Cut your chicken breasts into strips diagonally.

Season your flour with salt and pepper and put on a plate, whisk eggs in a bowl, and add Panko Crumbs to a plate. If you want a little heat, mix cayenne and paprika into the Panko crumbs. Dredge the strips in flour, then egg, then Panko Crumbs and transfer to a baking sheet.

Bake at 425°F for 30 mins. These go great with homemade Macaroni and Cheese.
